Announcements

New site for heavy & rapier fight practice

Heavy and rapier fight practice is now being held every Tuesday at 6pm at Mary Lyon Elementary School, under the covered play area. The address is 101 E. 46th Street, Tacoma, WA 98404.

In May, practice will shift to Wapato Park, on the 72nd St side, near the Tacoma Police satellite station.

First Thorsday Social

The monthly Baronial Social is held on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at Parkland/Spanaway Library 13718 Pacific Avenue S Tacoma, WA 98444. Come and socialize! Meet the members of the Barony. Learn how to get involved. Newcomers are welcome!

Baronial Business Meeting

The business meeting is a great place to learn more about the SCA and what we do. It is held online on the third Thursday of every month - the link is posted on the day of the meeting on the Barony of Blatha an Oir Populace Page on Facebook. We discuss the administrative business of the Barony and talk about upcoming events.

Welcome Home – to the SCA!

The Barony needs your help!

With the lack of income from events the last two years, our Baronial coffers are groaning, but the necessary repairs and replacements still need to be made. Working in conjunction with the Kingdom, Blatha an Oir is piloting a PayPal donation system.

Donations made here will go to repairs for Baronial tents, the purchase of new coronets to replace the current ones which are in poor shape, and additional funds to help get events going and to cover standard bills.
