Come join us at the 72nd St side of Wapato Park for Blatha an Oir’s annual demo: the Baroness Elspeth Memorial Rose Tournament. Heavy and rapier fighters, come and fight!

Note: This is a FREE DEMO. If you are bringing snacks to share, please include an ingredient list to avoid allergy incidents.

Requesting Marshals for both Heavy & Rapier, if you’re interested, respond to this post with Marshal (Rapier)/ Marshal (Heavy) and I will reach out/ or you can message the event stewards directly.

We will also need something to mark the erics, so please let me know if you can provide that as well.
We would also like to have 2 general pop-ups for water, fighter snacks, and general shade. If you want to contribute to the snacks, water, and/or pop-ups for this, please feel free to reach out.

A&S/Bardic = If you want to demo at Rose Tourney, feel free to reach out! Pop-ups are highly encouraged. Ideally, the goal is to have 6-7 Demos. Please bring projects that you are working on and a desire to share your joy with the public.

Note for All Day Shades/Eric markers = Please use modern pop-ups/and markings that do not require ground stakes. Ground stakes are prohibited due to underground sprinkler lines.

Prizes: We are hoping to find a couple of generously donated prizes for our (Two required) Tourney, one for the heavy fighters and one for rapier. If you’re interested in providing that, feel free to reach out directly.

Other Notes: This is a garb event, please dress up and steel yourself for questions from the moderns!
